Saturday, 4 September 2021 (YJC)_ Reacting to the US Treasury Department's boycott of four Iranian citizens, the State Department spokesman said: "Washington has no choice but to abandon sanctions and use literature and respect for Iran."
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said today (Saturday) in response to the US Treasury Department's decision to include four citizens of our country in the US sanctions list on imaginary charges: Unfortunately, current US officials are following in the footsteps of the previous administration.
He added: Supporters and businessmen of sanctions in the United States have seen their sanctions toolbox empty due to Iran's maximum resistance, and this time, by resorting to Hollywood scenarios, they are trying to keep alive the life taken from the sanctions atmosphere.
Khatibzadeh noted: Washington knows that it has no choice but to abandon its sanctioned addiction and use literature and respect for Tehran.
