Ayatollah Seyyed "Mohammad Saeed Hakim", one of the four authorities in Najaf, died on Friday due to cardiac arrest in one of the hospitals in Najaf.
Ayatollah Seyyed "Mohammad Saeed Tabatabai Hakim" was born in Najaf. She is the granddaughter of Seyyed "Mohsen Hakim", the source of Shiite imitation in the fourteenth century AH.
Ayatollah Hakim started his seminary education as a child and was a student of Seyyed Mohsen Hakim and Abolghasem Khoi. After completing his seminary education, Hakim taught specialized courses such as jurisprudence and the principles of jurisprudence, ethics and interpretation.
This imitation authority was imprisoned for eight years during the Ba'athist regime of Saddam Hussein. After the death of Seyyed Abolghasem Khoei, he became the source of imitation. Seyyed Mohammad Saeed Hakim has published 24 titles of books in more than forty volumes on topics such as jurisprudence, modern issues and some social issues, and some of his works have been translated into other languages.
This Shiite imitation authority has offices in cities such as Najaf, Qom, Damascus and Beirut.
