Friday, 3 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Minister highlighted the fact that Vienna Talks must secure the rights and interests of the Iranian nation.
While referring to congratulatory calls from German, French, and Austrian counterparts, the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the fact that Vienna Talks must secure the rights and interests of the Iranian nation.
He wrote on his twitter account “Received congratulatory calls from German, French & Austrian FMs. Discussed our new balanced FP & calibrated ties w EU; vaccines; Afghanistan; our region; & JCPOA.”
“Reiterated ViennaTalks must secure our rights/interests, ” he wrote and added “US' irresponsible conduct & EU's passivity must end.”
Iranian FM previously put emphasis on the fact that he government of President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi believes Negotiations should have tangible achievements and in this case, is ready to continue talks with the world powers in Vienna.
Amir Abdollahian also talked about the next round of Vienna talks and said, “It will take two to three months for the new government to take office and plan for any decision and other sides understand this.”
