The text of the message is as follows:
in the name of God
Dr. Seyyed Hassan Firoozabadi, Supreme Adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, former Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces and a member of the Expediency Council, has died. I offer my condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Imam Khamenei, the honorable family and members of the Armed Forces of the country.
From God Almighty for the late and exalted Sardar, may God exalt his rank and mercy, and accompany him with Hazrat Seyyed Al-Sajeddin Imam Zin Al-Abedin (AS) and for the honorable family and the general public of the bereaved and afflicted, especially his comrades in the Armed Forces and Basij, I ask for the patience and the great reward.
