Thursday, 2 September 2021 (YJC)_Iranian Army Commander said the country is prepared to face any threat by enemies.
In a message on the occasion of National Day of Air Defense Iranian Army Commander Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi said the country is prepared to face any threat by enemies.
“Equipped with the advanced and sophisticated systems, the Army Air Defense Force, is ready to face any threat in cooperation with other sectors of the Armed Forces,” he said.
“Today we are equipped with the world’s most modern radar, missile and drone systems,” he said while adding that “these are the products of Iranian experts and elites cooperating with the Army Force of Iran.
On Wednesday, a new home-made 3D phased-array radar and a center of weapons command and control was unveiled by the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Force.
The Army’s Air Defense Force Commander Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi Fard attended the first project unveiling ceremony.
The maximum radar range of the system is 450km and it is able to identify targets at low altitude.
Also, previously on Wednesday, addressing a ceremony to end the 6th round of the World Army Deep Diving Competition in Konarak, Sistan and Balouchestan province in Southeastern Iran on Wednesday, Commander of the Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said the country will not let US disturb peace and security in the region.
