Thursday, 2 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Indian Foreign Minister posted a message on his Twitter page announcing that in contact with his Iranian counterpart, they had stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations between Tehran and New Delhi.
Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations during a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian yesterday (Wednesday).
The Indian Foreign Minister wrote in a message on his Twitter page about his telephone conversation with the Iranian Foreign Minister:
A warm phone call was made to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. An agreement was reached to strengthen our bilateral cooperation. Discussions took place on important and serious regional issues. We appreciate Iran for facilitating our return flights from Afghanistan.
The Indian Foreign Minister spoke by telephone with his Iranian counterpart to discuss a range of issues, including developments in Afghanistan and bilateral issues, the Print website reported.
