Syrian sources reported that a ceasefire agreement was reached between Syrian army forces and the opposition in the southern Syrian city of Deraa.
According to the report, the agreement includes a cessation of hostilities and the start of terrorist withdrawal operations, dealing with elements pursued by the Syrian regime, and the delivery of weapons and occupied areas to the Syrian army and Russian forces.
Syrian sources and experts say the importance of such an agreement is that Damascus has now shown that it has always sought peaceful solutions and refrained from using military mechanisms against the opposition.
