A joint statement from the two countries quoted َAxios as saying: We are all committed to our citizens, citizens and residents, staff, Afghans who have worked with us and those at risk to continue their journey freely to destinations outside Afghanistan.
The statement emphasized: We have received assurances from the Taliban that all foreign nationals and Afghan citizens with travel permits from our countries will be allowed to travel safely and regularly to and from abroad.
