Monday, 30 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Turkish president told reporters yesterday that he was seeking an agreement with the Taliban, similar to the one with Libya.
On Sunday (yesterday, August 29th), Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, returning from a visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina, told reporters about Ankara's approach to Afghanistan.
He clarified that Turkey is seeking an agreement with the Taliban, similar to the agreement it reached with Libya.
Erdogan said:
I can not say that we will not sign such an agreement that we signed with Libya. We can do that, it is enough to find a suitable partner to negotiate.
