Thursday, 26 August 2021 (YJC)_ An informed Iraqi official announced the suspicious arrival of a large US military convoy from Basra to Al-Anbar province and the deployment at Ayn al Asad air base for unknown reasons.
According to Fars News Agency's International Group, a well-informed security source in Iraq's Anbar province announced the arrival of a large US military convoy carrying military equipment and vehicles from Basra province to Ayn al Asad air base in western Anbar province.
A well-informed security source told Al-Ma'loumeh News Agency that a large American convoy carrying military equipment entered the Ayn al Asad air base from Basra province without knowing the reason or motive.
He added: "The operation of the US military convoy entering Iraqi territory was accompanied by the continuous flight of American planes over the areas where the convoy was moving until it reached its destination in Anbar province."
The source explained that US security companies were responsible for the safe delivery of the equipment to the Ayn al Asad base. A number of US troops also flew military planes into Ayn al Asad to be sent to US-held areas in Iraq.
