Thursday, 26 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Polish Foreign Ministry has announced that it has halted operations to evacuate Afghanistan for security reasons.
According to Reuters, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz issued a statement announcing that the evacuation of those who had requested to leave Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of Kabul had been stopped for security reasons.
The Polish Deputy Foreign Minister added: The group that left Kabul and is currently in Uzbekistan is the latest evacuation operation in Poland.
"The decision was made after consulting with US and British officials," said Marcin Przydacz. After a lengthy analysis of security reports, we decided not to endanger the lives of our diplomats and soldiers anymore.
