The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Kuwait, Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, on his election as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Wednesday night.

Amir-Abdollahian, while thanking his Kuwaiti counterpart for calling and emphasizing Iran's good neighborly policy, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no restrictions on expanding cooperation with its neighbors in the Persian Gulf and attaches special importance to deepening bilateral relations with Kuwait.
