Referring to the current situation in Afghanistan and its people, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said: "The international community must meet Afghanistan's needs for economic stability, peace, reconciliation and a comprehensive political solution in Afghanistan."
In talks with his Belgian counterpart, Alexander DiCro, Khan discussed the Afghan crisis and Pakistan's role in expelling foreigners from Kabul.
The Belgian prime minister is the fifth international official with whom Imran Khan has discussed Afghanistan since the fall of Ashraf Ghani.
In contact with his Belgian counterpart, the Pakistani Prime Minister stressed the importance of the international community's participation in supporting the Afghan people, rebuilding the country's economy and meeting their basic needs through humanitarian means.
He stressed: "The security of the Afghan people and the stabilization of the situation in this country is vital."
