Tehran, YJC. Spokesman of Iran’s Majlis Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy Hossein Naqavi Hosseini says double standards in dealing with terrorism will afflict Turkey.
Hosseini who was speaking in interview with Nasim Online
referring to Turkey’s approach to Syria's current situations as ISIL rages
through the country said "Turkey is sure to pay for its wrong policies in
relation to Syria.”
"Once I was meeting with Davutoglu, the incumbent prime minister
and former minister of foreign affairs. He used to talk with so much zeal about
terrorists and against Assad as if the terrorists were the cradle of democracy and
Assad the center of dictatorship and terrorism.”
"But,” he added "following events proved that that mode of
thought was not correct, and that giving room to terrorist groups finally leads
to lack of security which will hurt the entire countries of the region.”
We see the same in Kobani. Turkey officials still do not
know if they have to take a position against terrorism or to defend it, that is
why they have adopted double standards, Hosseini asserted.
"Since the beginning, the Islamic Republic of Iran has
followed a single policy against terrorists. Iran has kept believing that terrorism
is detrimental to security for all countries. That is why it never defines
terrorists into good and bad ISIL,” the MP maintained.
He added "I think that Turkey will be the country losing the
worst loss and paying heavily for that.”
