Tehran, YJC. Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran with his diplomatic team early Tuesday to attend nuclear negotiations with Western sides.
In this trip, he is accompanied by deputies Abbas Araqchi and
Majid Takht Ravanchi, as well as Hamid Baidi Nejad and Davod Mohammad Nia from
the Foreign Ministry, and Mohammad Amiri and Pejman Rahimian from the Iranian Atomic
Energy Organization .
Amir Hossein Zamani NIa and Jamshid Momtaz also accompany
the team as experts on legal affairs.
Zarif will meet the Western side’s leader in Iran nuclear negotiations
Catherine Ashton at a working dinner on Tuesday.
Also, on the same day, Araqchi is to meet US Deputy Secretary
of State William Burns and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy
Sherman.
On Wednesday, Zarif, Ashton, and US Secretary of State John Kerry will join for more talks on a comprehensive agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
On Monday, Zarif had said in meeting with Vietnam’s Deputy
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in the Iranian capital, Tehran that "The
Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its nuclear enrichment within the
framework of international regulations.”
