Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasim said the hostile behavior of the occupying Zionist regime, of which the recent attack on Syria was one example, was a real source of tension in the region.
According to Maa, Qasim went on to call for a real confrontation with the Zionist regime's aggressive behavior and to prevent its re-aggression.
News sources reported on Friday morning that the Syrian air defense was confronting hostile targets in the skies of Damascus, and the Israeli media reported that the regime had fired missiles at targets on the outskirts of Damascus.
