Thursday, 19 August 2021 (YJC)_ The secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon said: "Iran has never interfered in the formation of any government in Lebanon and has not prevented it."
Today (Thursday), the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement spoke on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions.
The Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement began his speech by offering his condolences to the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Hazrat Amir Mo'menan (AS), Hazrat Fatima (AS), Imam Hassan (AS) and the Imams (AS).
"Some inside and outside the country are trying to hold us responsible for the failures in forming a government, which is not true," he said. "Like other Lebanese people, we look forward to seeing where the regular meetings between the president and the cabinet will go."
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah added: "Iran has never interfered in the formation of any government in Lebanon and has not prevented it, but it is some foreign parties that are doing this.
The living conditions in Lebanon must be taken seriously, decisively and with determination. The fact that the security forces have discovered millions of liters of gasoline and diesel fuel shows that this crisis is intentional. If the ruling power had acted decisively and willingly from the beginning, it would have been possible to resolve this crisis. Is the behavior of the ruling power a kind of mismanagement or a deliberate attempt to disappoint the Lebanese ?!
Security forces must imprison these ugly hoarders to stop this humiliation. We must also appreciate the sacrifices made by the Lebanese army and security forces to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people. Any attack on the Lebanese army is condemned and is indecent."
