US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke by telephone Thursday morning with his British counterpart Dominique Robb and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan.
According to the State Department, most of the talks focused on Afghanistan and the situation in the country after the fall of the Kabul government to the Taliban.
"They discussed continued coordination in Afghanistan, including ways to encourage [the Taliban] to adhere to international requirements, as well as the safety and security of all Afghan and foreign nationals in the country," the ministry said in a statement.
