Wednesday, 18 August 2021 (YJC)_ The development of educational co-operation was emphasized during a meeting between senior Kyrgyz and Chinese officials in Bishkek.
Du Dewen, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bishkek met in Kyrgyzstan with Deputy Prime Minister Yildiz Bakashev.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the main issues of bilateral relations, current projects, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 30th anniversary of the independence of the country and expressed satisfaction with the achievements of Beijing-Bishkek cooperation in the field of education and stressed that the Chinese side also contributes to this celebration every year.
He added that this year he will pay for the education of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the universities of the People's Republic of China.
Du Dewen said the Chinese side is ready to continue expanding cooperation in the field of education with the Kyrgyz side to strengthen friendship between the two countries.
