Tuesday, 17 August 2021 (YJC)_ Ayatollah Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, appointed the Second Admiral Shahram Irani as the Commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The text of the Supreme Leader's decree is as follows:
in the name of God
Second Admiral Amir Shahram Irani
In view of the commitment and good records and the proposal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, I appoint you as the Commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran by awarding the rank of Admiral.
Serious and worthy efforts are made to use the capacities of the forces, the army, the armed forces and the country to advance the jihadist and revolutionary forces, to upgrade their capabilities and to be fully prepared based on the growth and excellence of human capital.
I thank Admiral Hossein Khanzadi for his effective efforts in this responsibility.
I ask everyone for success from the great Lord.
