Saturday, 14 August 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian parliament chief of health committee Hoseyn Ali Shahriari and his entourage, visited the production line of Russian Sputnik-V vaccine at Actover pharmaceutical Company.
During this visit which took about two hours, Actover's chairman and some other directors of the company gave explanations of capacities and the production stages of the vaccine.
This company has the ability to produce 900,000 doses of Sputnik-V and 3.5 million doses of Sputnik Light per month.
According to reports from Russia Sputnik NEWS, the Russian Investment Fund has demonstrated the clinical trial efficiency of Sputnik Light vaccine in Azerbaijan and Russia very successful.
Due to this report, Sputnik Light efficiency was successful for the ages 18-50 and this result in the current Russia’s emergency situation, have caused the young people be vaccinated at a faster speed. Current Sputnik Light is being injected widely in 12 countries and has had a great effects in reducing mortalities
The Iranian produced Sputnik vaccine, and in order to enter the vaccination process of the country, has already gone through all test stages and sent to the Gamalia Institute of Russia to undergo final tests.
