Saturday, 14 August 2021 (YJC)_The Yemeni military says it has shot down a US spy drone with a surface-to-air missile in Ma'rib province.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said today (Saturday) that the Yemeni army had shot down a US spy drone in Marib Governorate.
"Thanks to God, the Air Defense was able to shoot down a US Scan Eagle with a surface-to-air missile," Yahya Saree said on Twitter.
According to the statement, the drone was conducting a hostile operation in the airspace of the "Madghal" area in Marib Governorate, which was shot down by the Yemeni army.
