Thursday, 12 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces said: "We thank God Almighty that the honorable President of the Islamic Republic, with tact and intelligence, chose the best option for the post of Minister of Defense."
Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support Amir Hatami met with General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani at the Minister's Office after the publication of the final list of the 13th government's proposed cabinet.
In this meeting, Brigadier General Hatami expressed his happiness over the selection of Brigadier General Ashtiani as the proposed option of the Ministry of Defense of the 13th government and said: "We thank God that the President chose the best option for the Ministry of Defense and support of the Armed Forces."
The Minister of Defense considered the proposed option of the 13th government for the Ministry of Defense as a capable, experienced, committed and familiar with the issues of the Armed Forces and specified that the Ministry of Defense is fully prepared in all sectors to share the existing experiences with the Minister of Defense.
