Wednesday, 11 August 2021 (YJC)_ Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said that the Iranian naval forces’ intelligence superiority over the enemies deters them from making any aggression toward the country.
In his remarks in his speech in the port city of Bandar Abbas Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy’s First Zone Brigadier General Abbas Gholamshahi said that the Iranian naval forces’ intelligence superiority over the enemies deters them from making any aggression toward the country.
“Enemies have shifted their focused from hard warfare to psychological operations,” he said while adding that “The high capability, intelligence and operational superiority of the Iranian Armed Forces were among features that discouraged enemies from adventurism and made them shift their focus more on psychological and media operations.”
Previously, Major General Salami warned Israel not to shorten its life by making wrong moves against Iran.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is waiting a wrong move by Zionist regime to destroy it completely,” he said while emphasizing on the key role of journalists and media in the contemporary world and said “Using effective methods to express facts in order to confront the enemy’s media war is vital.”
Tensions have simmered in the region after a suspected drone attack last week on an Israeli-managed tanker off the Omani coast killed two crew members and was blamed on Iran by the US, Israel and Britain, without any evidence.
