Wednesday, 11 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution this morning (Wednesday) in a televised speech about the situation and the outbreak of corona virus, called it the first and urgent issue of the country.

Emphasizing on the decisive performance of duties and decisions to deal with the disease, he gave advice and tips to officials and the people.
Ayatollah Khamenei called the need to deal with the transformation and mutation of the virus the use of new and strong make-up and defense methods and said: the death of more than 500 people in one day and the grief of their families and also tens of thousands of people with their diseases and medical problems is very painful and the hearts of every muslim and compatriot are burning with this incident, so we have duties to deal with this situation.
He called the president's one-week deadline to gather proposals and decide on them a good thing, adding: "At the appointed time, the answer to the issue should be carefully weighed, and every necessary action should be decided and acted upon decisively."
The Supreme Leader of the Revolution also considered the extreme fatigue of the medical staff and the physical and mental pressures on them to be a great concern. He added: "I thank from the bottom of my heart the doctors, nurses and treatment groups who are really jihad, although the main thanks are from God."
Ayatollah Khamenei went on to make a few remarks to officials and the public. The Supreme Leader of the Revolution stressed the need to expand diagnostic tests: "Early in the disease, general diagnostic tests became common, which was a good thing, and the health network should do this with the help of Basij."
"The government and insurance companies should help make the diagnosis and diagnostics available to all people for free and extensively," he said, referring to the high cost of corona diagnostic tests.
Ayatollah Khamenei, in his next recommendation to the officials, emphasized the issue of providing the vaccine extensively and said: "Fortunately, with the production of the vaccine domestically, its foreign import route was also paved, while before that, despite paying for the vaccine, the sellers Foreigners were not faithful to their promise.
The Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasized: Vaccines, whether imported or domestically produced, must be provided with double effort and in any way possible and made available to all people. Regarding the issue of providing medicine to patients, he said: "Despite the shortage or lack of medicine in pharmacies and hospitals, it is said that the same drugs are sold in the open market at multiple prices, which indicates a problem in the distribution network and this problem must be solved."
Referring to the serious and strong presence of the armed forces in the first months of the disease, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "The armed forces are still busy, but they must do everything in their power to help the people."
He called the decision to quarantine or lockdown a specialized matter and needed to be reviewed at the Corona National Headquarters, adding: "The authorities should act decisively on whatever conclusion they reach."
In another part of his speech to the people, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution said that part of the problem was due to non-observance of the rules and added: "Dear people, with the same sensitivity of the first months, follow the rules completely so that their lives and health are not endangered."
He said that enduring the restrictions for two or three months and fully observing the procedures would reduce the illness and rest the medical staff and added: "God willing, with the efforts of the staff, the vaccine will be provided to the people in a few months and the risk of death and family tragedy Will be reduced.
In other recommendations, Ayatollah Khamenei considered the mourning ceremonies of Hazrat Seyyed al-Shohada (as) as a blessing and attracting divine mercy and added: the nation and the country need these gatherings with blessings, but in holding them, the procedures must be observed with full care and intensity.
He advised the organizers of the meetings and the participants to observe the rules and distances: Do not let the Muharram ceremony cause the spread of disease and the sarcasm of the opponents and enemies.
In the end, he reminded the important issue of prayer and supplication to God to eliminate calamity, and said: All these advices are the means that their success depends on the care of God Almighty and wise, and mourning ceremonies are a good place and ground for these appeals and intercessions.
Ayatollah Khamenei expressed his hope that God would save the Iranian nation, believers and all human beings around the world from this evil and problematic disease.
