Tuesday, 10 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 39,139 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 39,139 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours.
“39,139 COVID-19 infections and 508 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to more than 4,238,676.”
The spokesperson went on to say that “508 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll to 95,111.”
“6,749 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 3,591,313 have already gained recovery,” ministry added.
The health ministry public relations warned that 336 cities are rated red, 84 cities are orange, and 28 cities are yellow.
According to the Iranian Health Ministry, 26,683,686 COVID-19 tests have been taken throughout the country.
According to the latest figures, more than 204,348,609 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 4,320,760 and recoveries amounting to 183,530,094.
