Tuesday, 10 August 2021 (YJC)_ Virgina Giuffre, one of the most outspoken of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers, said in a lawsuit that Prince Andrew had sexually abused her when she was 17.
Virginia Giuffre, one of the longtime plaintiffs in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, a prominent American financier accused of abusing underage girls, has sued Prince Andrew Duke of York for raping her at the age of 17. Her lawyers reportedly filed the lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court.
"My complaint is under the Child Victims Act," Giuffre said. I wrote in this lawsuit that I was trafficked and sexually abused by them. I hold Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me. Powerful and rich people should not be exempted from responsibility for their actions. "I hope the other victims will see that it is not possible to live in silence and fear, but to get their lives back by talking and demanding justice."
"I did not come to this decision lightly," she added. "I know this will expose me to further attacks by Prince Andrew and his successors, but I knew that if I did not do so, I would allow them and the victims to do whatever they wanted."
