Sunday, 8 August 2021 (YJC)_ Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution thanked Iranian medalists for their performance in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
In a message on Saturday Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei thanked Iranian medalists for their performance in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
“I thank the Olympian medalists, who delighted the Iranian nation through their endeavor,” he said while expressing his gratitude towards the athletes.
Today, Iran wrapped up its attendance in the historic event. The games took off on July 23 and is to witness its epilogue on Sunday and it was competed by more than 11,000 athletes from across the world.
The Iranian athletes bagged as many as seven medals—three golds, two silvers, and two bronzes—in shooting, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, weight-lifting, and karate.
