Friday, 6 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Speaker of the Parliament of Iran, stating that the resistance of the Palestinian people in the 12-day war caused Muslim dignity and this resistance revived the spirit of gallantry to end the rule of the Zionist regime.
Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), who is in Tehran to attend the inauguration of the 13th term of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament of Iran.
At the beginning of the meeting, Qalibaf, Speaker of the Parliament of Iran, referring to the significant victories of the Palestinian people in the battle of Saif al-Quds, which took place at the end of Ramadan against the occupying regime in Jerusalem, said: Congratulations to you.
He noted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is based on its commitment to the liberation of the occupied territories, and issues such as the normalization and identification of the Zionists will not affect our resolve."
Qalibaf stated: The Zionists are not always satisfied with less than the disintegration of Islamic countries and division among Muslims, but the resistance of the Palestinian people has an important role in defeating the Zionist conspiracies. The awakening of public opinion and their support for the struggles of the Palestinian people and the resistance proved that the issue of Palestine remains the first priority of the Islamic world.
