Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, presented the text of the 13th presidential decree to President-elect Ibrahim Raeisi.
According to Article 110 of the Constitution, the signing of a presidential decree after the election of the people is one of the duties of the leader and according to the Presidential Election Law, the term of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran is four years and starts from the date of validity of the credentials by the Supreme Leader.
Hojjatoleslam "Ebrahim Reisi" is the eighth president-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran since the beginning of the revolution, who will officially take the presidency for a four-year term after the inauguration ceremony on Thursday, August 5, in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
