Saturday ,31 July 2021 (YJC)_ Iran’s Ambassador to Stockholm noted that the country does not tolerate disrespect for its nationals.
Referring to beating of an Iranian citizen in a jail in Sweden Iran’s Ambassador to Stockholm Ahmad Masoumifar stressed that the country does not tolerate disrespect for its nationals.
In a massage on his twitter account, he referred to the fact that one of the Iranians was severely beaten by Swedish security forces in one of the detention centers of this country on Eid al-Qadir, and wrote “For this reason, I requested an immediate visit to ensure his health.”
He went on to put emphasis on the fact that Iran will not tolerate disrespect and violation of rights of its citizens and noted “We will pursue the issue until the perpetrators are identified and punished.”
Previously in April the head of the Iranian Judiciary's High Council for Human Rights Ali Baqeri Kani had criticized the European states for violating the rights of the imprisoned Iranian nationals.
