Muqtada al-Sadr, the head of Iraq's al-Sadr faction, welcomed the agreement to withdraw US troops from the country, calling it the result of resistance.
On his Twitter account on Tuesday morning, Sadr praised the Iraqi National Resistance for the deal, saying the "occupiers" announced that they had begun withdrawing all their combat forces.
He wrote in this tweet that we should wait with the Iraqi resistance groups and see the end of the withdrawal of these forces.
The leader of the Al-Sadr faction in Iraq also thanked for all the efforts made to form this agreement, especially the "brother Kazemi", the prime minister of this country.
In his statement, Sadr also referred to his conditions for stopping the Iraqi resistance military operation against the United States in the country and said that if these conditions are met, the operation will be stopped and the resistance forces will return and expand security in Iraq. Shading Terrorism and Violence "will assist Iraqi security forces from the military to the federal police.
The United States and Iraq, after four rounds of so-called strategic talks on the withdrawal of US combat troops from Iraq, have agreed to end their withdrawal by the end of this year and to be replaced by advisers.
