Saturday,24 July 2021 (YJC)_A US military plane has re-entered the Latin American airspace illegally, the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense has announced.
The Venezuelan Ministry of Defense said in a statement Friday evening that a US Air Force C-17 military transport aircraft had entered Venezuelan airspace.
The incident took place on Thursday evening, according to the ministry.
The ministry said it was a clear provocation as part of Colombia's military exercises in Antikua and Condinamarca, where US F-16s and RC-135s are stationed.
According to the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense, this is the 21st time this year that the United States has violated airspace.
