Friday,23 July 2021 (YJC)_ Leader of the Islamic Revolution received the second dose of Iranian-made coronavirus vaccine.
On Friday morning, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the second dose of Iranian-made coronavirus vaccine "COV-Iran Barakat".
The leader’s office announced that “Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the second dose of 'COV-Iran Barakat' COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader had previously received the first dose of a homegrown COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, June 25.
Now, after receiving his second dose of his domestic COVID-19 vaccine, the leader expressed his satisfaction with the unsparing efforts of medical staff throughout the country in the fight against the pandemic.
He also referred to the mutations of COVID-19 strains spread across the country and once again called on all people to strictly observe sanitary protocols and said “The disease will certainly be prevented, If people accept the complete observance of health guidelines.”
