Friday,23 July 2021 (YJC)_Unidentified gunmen blew up a gas pipeline between Al-Jabsa Square and the Banias refinery in Syria.

A gas pipeline explodes in SyriaSyrian sources said that unidentified individuals detonated a gas pipeline in the Al-Jabsa field gas pipeline in the Shadadi area to the Banias refinery.

The blast is said to have caused a large fire in the area.

According to the report, the refinery is located on the outskirts of Tartus, near the "Tele Al-Jahif" area in northwestern Deir ez-Zor.

The Shadadi area south of Hasakah is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), known as Qasd.

Most of Syria's northeastern and northeastern regions, including the oil and energy provinces of Hasakah, Deir ez-Zor and al-Raqqa, are controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by the US-led coalition.
