A couple in Massachusetts sued Ebay over the harassment of its employees. The couple had published criticisms about Ebay performance in their online newsletter. But the eBay staff's response to the criticism has been harsh, illegal and immoral.
According to a lawsuit filed by the couple in federal court in Boston, they have been relentlessly and persistently harassed to stop criticizing Ebay in their newsletter.
David and Ina Steiner have accused Ebay employees and contractors of threatening to kill, torture, assassinate, dismember and silence themselves for publishing critical news about the company.
The couple received a variety of threatening emails and Twitter messages in the summer of 2019, secretly being digitally spied on, and data-x-items such as live beetles, bloody pig masks, a wreath of death, pornographic content, etc. called Neighbors to scare and harass them. It has been sent to their door.
The court charged seven people, five of whom were convicted. In response to these events, eBay has confirmed the misconduct of a number of its employees and considered this action wrong. "Ebay" regrets the effort to address this issue fairly and appropriately.
The plaintiff couple alleges that these abusive behaviors have caused them a great deal of stress, and that many of their clients have lost their newsletters because they were worried that they would be the next victims of attacks and harassment by Ebay staff. The amount of damages they owed to Ebay has not yet been announced.
