Wednesday,21 July 2021 (YJC) _The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company said: in order to realize the portfolio of projects of the second leap, 6 petrochemical projects will be put into operation by the end of this year.
According to the National Petrochemical Company, Behzad Mohammadi, on the sidelines of visiting the Islamabad-Gharb project and the urea and ammonia complex in Kermanshah, said: Last year, 17 petrochemical projects were put into operation and out of the remaining 11 projects in the second leap basket of the petrochemical industry, 6 projects per year The current and 5 projects will enter the production circuit in the first half of next year.
He added: "39 active projects are in the portfolio of third leap projects that will be operational by 1404, and with their operation, the production capacity will reach 137 million tons and the revenues of the petrochemical industry will increase to $ 35 billion."
The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, stating that the revenue of the petrochemical industry last year was $ 15 billion, said: "This year this figure will reach about $ 21 billion and by 1404 the revenue of this industry will reach $ 35 billion."
