Wednesday, 30 June 2021 (YJC) _ A number of families of the martyrs of the June 28, 1981 terrorist attack, gathered in front of the Iranian ministry and the French embassy in Tehran, demanding the extradition and trial of the MKO terrorists.

Families of the martyrs of the 28 June 1981 bombing gathered in front of the ministry of justice and the French embassyThe demonstrators carried placards with the slogans "either trial or extradition", "the incident of 7 tir exposed the evil reality of the MKOs", "European countries have sheltered the murderers and only claim human rights" and " martyr and executioner should not be replaced." They called on the authorities to bring to justice the perpetrators of the June 28 bombing, which led to the martyrdom of Beheshti and his colleagues.
The demonstrators chanted "Death to the MKO" and finally issued a statement to the Paris attorney general and the judges of the MKO’s case. The statement, signed by those present at the rally, called on the French judiciary to reopen the trial of the MKOs, which has been filed since 2008.
On June 28, 1981, Ayatollah Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti, the head of the Supreme Court of Iran, along with 72 other Iranian political and religious figures, were martyred by members of “The People's Mujahedin Organization of Iran (MKO)” a terrorist group currently sheltered in France, in a powerful bomb blast at headquarters of the Islamic Republican Party (IRP) in Tehran.
