TEHRAN, YJC. An Iranian police official has announced the Iranian police's interest in expanding cooperation worldwide.
ran's Deputy Police Commander Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari on Wednesday voiced the body's readiness to cooperate with its counterparts from other countries, particularly those that have representatives in Iran.
Addressing a local gathering, Ashtari said Iranian police is ready to work with the Tehran-based military attachés and police liaisons of foreign countries to promote bilateral interaction between law enforcement bodies.
"Iranian police has no limit in sharing its experiences with other states," Ashtari said.
He also hoped major steps will be taken for broadening bilateral cooperation with other countries by holding bilateral and multilateral meetings and training courses.
Ashtari said crimes such as terrorism, smuggling, illegal drugs, illegal migration, cyber crimes, money laundering, organized crimes and human trafficking have found a global dimension which should be settled by international cooperation.
