Thursday, 24 June 2021 (YJC) _Iranian Health Ministry announced that Iranian received 5,481,669 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
Iranian Health Ministry announced on Thursday that so far people have received 5,481,669 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
“1,069,565 people have been fully vaccinated by receiving the second dose,” added the ministry.
The ministry also said that “in the past 24 hours 11,734 new infections have been detected, while 1,342 of these cases have been hospitalized.”
The virus has claimed 144 lives since Wednesday as 3,225 others are in critical condition. The death toll of the outbreak has hit 83,473.
According to the latest figures, more than 180,458,993 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 3,909,478 and recoveries amounting to 165,169,627.
