Sunday, 20 June 2021 (YJC) _The CEO of Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company briefs about the company's new veterinary herbal medicine “Respirovet Barij”, and said the medicine can compete with similar foreign products.
According to public relations department of Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company, in a news conference on Monday, the CEO of the company, Laleh Hejazi said “Based on the needs assessment of the customers in the field of poultry diseases and with the aim of preventing net capital outflow, last year the research center of Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company began the research to produce Respirovet Barij.”
She went on to say that after fulfilling the domestic needs, the herbal medicine was exported and added “Those who work in the field of aviculture can treat respiratory diseases of poultry and livestock using Respirovet Barij; moreover, as it does not have any similar formulation, other herbal and chemical medicines can be replaced by this product.”
Elsewhere in her remarks, Hejazi put emphasis on low-dose with high impact of the Respirovet Barij and said “Formulation type, percentage of active ingredient, type of the materials that has been used, boosting immune system and protecting against viral diseases are among other features of this herbal medicine.”
She went on to compare Respirovet Barij with other similar foreign products and said “Generally speaking, foreign products are of high price which makes them not economically viable; however, Respirovet Barij is economic and of herbal features; and unlike any imported drug, it benefits the consumer.”
The CEO of Barij Essence Pharmaceutical Company also referred to the herbal ingredients of the medicine and said “With its antibacterial properties, Thyme cleanses respiratory tracts, also Echinacea is among the best to boost immune system.”
Hejazi also considers Vitamin E and C used in the medicine as two high antioxidants sources which boost immune system and added that “Such ingredients are vital in case of viral diseases to boost immune system as make livestock and poultry overcome the peak period.”
She went on to highlight the fact that in recent years the production of Mucolyte has increased and said “it has been scientifically proven that the herbal type is far more effective than the chemical one, and in this regard, Barij Essence, with its product called Respirovet Barij, is among the first producers of the medicine around the country.”
The CEO of the Barij Essence knowledge-based company pointed out the fact that having produced 15 herbal-based veterinary products, the company took the first place in the country in regard of the number of herbal-based products, and added “Having the most kinds of vitamins among domestic herbal and chemical medicines, Respirovet Barij is unique and economic to purchase.”
She went on to announce that based on the schedule the company aims to launch 30 new herbal veterinary medicine in the next 3 years which will be used for diseases such as “Bronchitis, Newcastle, Smallpox, CRD, Severe acute respiratory syndrome,” and added “In addition to boost immune system, poultry metabolism will reduce mortality rate, and in order to prevent diseases, Respirovet Barij is one of the best products available in the market with special indications and formulas; Barij Essence has made most out of his effort to cover all aspects of variety of diseases.”
Finally, she explained the direction for use of this herbal medicine and said “to prevent disease 200 to 500 ml of the medicine in 1000 liters potable water is used and for optimal consumption it should be constantly used during the cure time.”
