Wednesday, 2 June 2021 (YJC) _ Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs said JCPOA talks that are took place in Vienna has reached a point that are not unresolvable.
During his remarks prior to the meeting of the Joint Commission of the JCPOA on Wednesday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyed Abbass Araghchi said talks has reached a point that are not unresolvable.
“Right now, there is a need to review the processes of talks that have taken place so far,” he said while adding “All delegations concluded that the delegates should return to their respective capitals for consultations and further decision-making on disputes.”
“The 5th round of Joint Commission will be held today and after that the delegations will return to their capitals,” Araghchi said
He went on to say that the delegations are determined and serious and added “we have reached a point where everyone believes that it is not impossible to resolve, but details are important anyway, and our firm positions are important to be respected.”
Araghchi also announced that the date of the next meeting would be determined today.
A meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission will be held on Wednesday evening with the participation of Iran and the P4+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, UK) in the Grand Hotel in the Austrian capital.
