Tuesday, 1 June 2021 (YJC) _ Iranian Government Spokesman said Vienna talks are ongoing and there is no major obstacle in them.
Iranian Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei responded to the question elaborated about when the Vienna talks will end and said they are ongoing and there is no major obstacle in them.
“There is a basic understanding of what the parties should do to return to the JCPOA agreement,” he said while emphasizing there is no major obstacle to the negotiations on the revival of the Iranian nuclear deal.
“Many details need to be considered due to the complexities of numerous sanctions during Trump era,” he said.
The spokesman also announced “We hope that we will be able to announce the full revival of the JCPOA before the end of the current administration in Iran."
However, he continued to emphasize that “The election and its results will no way affect the Vienna talks and they will be continued until achieve the desired result within the framework of the general policies of the Establishment and under the guidance of the Leader.”
Finally, he noted “There are no deadlocks in the negotiations and we are not in a hurry. There are just a few key issues that are needed to be decided.”
