Saturday, 29 May 2021 (YJC) _ The Commander-in-Chief of IRGC said Yemen and Palestine share the same religious beliefs despite their geographical distance.
During his remarks on Saturday, The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said Yemen and Palestine share the same religious beliefs despite their geographical distance.
He made these remarks during an interview with Al-Masireh on the occasion of the 40th day after the demise of the former IRGC Quds Force Major General Hejazi.
“Despite being living under the toughest economic conditions, the Yemenis share their loaves of bread with the Palestinian during the recent 12-day military confrontation between Palestinian resistance groups and the Zionist army,” Salami said while noting that “The resistance of the Yemeni people alongside the Palestinians indicate the rate of their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.”
He, moreover, recalled the Yemeni Ansarullah movement leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi and said “His words showed self-sacrifice and heroism, and it would mean that Palestine is not alone.”
