Thursday, 27 May 2021 (YJC) _ Iran’s Judiciary Chief and presidential candidate stressed the necessity for the development of economic relations with all countries.
In a meeting with economic activists of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture in Tehran, Iran’s Judiciary Chief and presidential candidate, Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi stressed the necessity for the development of economic relations with all countries.
“Interaction with the whole world to resolve economic problems, and the countries of the region is what we think should be prioritized,” he said.
He went on to put emphasis on the fact that the market should be involved in decision-making for economic growth, and said “A connection between economy and diplomacy is needed, and in my view, there should be a connection between science and universities and production and the market. Our diplomatic system should be connected to the market, and we can have good relations with the regional states and have the best exports to them.”
The 13th presidential election and the 6th City and Village Councils Elections will be simultaneously hold on June 18.
The Iranian interior ministry on Tuesday declared the names of 7 hopefuls, including Rayeesi, qualified by Iran’s vetting body, the Guardian Council, to run in the presidential race on June 18.
