Tuesday, 25 May 2021 (YJC) _ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 11,873 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 11,873 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours.
“11,873 COVID-19 infections and 208 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to more than 2,855,396.”
The spokesperson went on to say that “208 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll to 79,056.”
“4,695 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 2,362,428 have already gained recovery,” ministry added.
“As many as 2,675,594 have received the first doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine as of today, while 470,468 have been injected with the second dose of the vaccine,” added the spox.
