Friday, 21 May 2021 (YJC) _ The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps unveiled New Drone, Missile, Radar Systems.

IRGC unveiled New Drone, Missile, Radar SystemsIRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami and IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh attended a ceremony on Friday and announced that they have unveiled three strategic products including New Drone, Missile, Radar Systems.

“Gaza" drone, “9th of Dey” surface-to-air missile system and "Qods" radar system were these three strategic products unveiled by IRGC.

IRGC experts made the wide-body drone (Gaza) which is a new defense achievement for the country.

During the ceremony Gen. Hajizadeh said “This drone is capable of carrying 13 bombs in a range of over 2,000 kilometers in combat missions and it can carry 500 kilograms of various reconnaissance and signal equipment. This drone will promote the capability of the IRGC to counter enemy threats.”

“Gaza drone can carry out missions in monitoring forests, rescue operations as well as providing assistance in disasters such as floods and earthquakes,” he added.

Elsewhere in his remarks he said “The Qods radar system has the capability to be deployed and moved quickly.”

Hajizadeh also referred to "9th of Dey" missile and said “That is a 100% domestically manufactured surface-to-air missile system which has the capability to confront and destroy a variety of threats at close range such as cruise missiles, aircraft bombs, and UAVs.”
