Tehran, YJC. Iran is going to held the 11th International Congress of Epilepsy from 28 to 30 January 2015.
The conference is going to be held at Razi International
Conference Center.
Parviz Bahrami, epilepsy and EEG (electroencephalogram)
specialist, stated that given that the Congress was held every year in autumn, the
managers have decided to choose a month in winter instead so that they can have
access to more scientific achievements as researchers will have more time to
submit their articles.
"We have international lecturers from the US, Canada,
France, Spain and Japan each of whom are experts of epilepsy in their own
country,” stated Dr. Bahrami.
In this congress, the latest scientific advancements will be
accessible to Iranian scientists and physicians; surgeons, neurologists,
psychiatrists and general practitioners in special.
Dr. Bahrami further noted "for the first time, there will be
a workshop during the congress this year which nurses who have conducted
research into epilepsy and are eager to learn more can attend.”
"300 Iranian doctors and 17 lecturers from abroad will attend
the congress,” said Dr. Bahrami, "at the moment, the conference secretariat is
collecting scientific papers by researchers and scholars.”
The 11th International Iranian Congress of Epilepsy will be
held from 28 to 30 January 2015 at Razi International Conference Center. The
deadline for submitting articles has been extended to 7 October 2014.
