Tuesday, 11 May 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced 18,133 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 18,133 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours.
“18,133 COVID-19 infections and 307 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours” Lari said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to more than 2,691,352.”
She went on to say that “307 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll to 75,568.”
“Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 2,575 patients have been admitted to the hospital,” she added.
“5,522 individuals are experiencing critical conditions while 2,144,197 have already gained recovery,” she said while saying “So far 1,570,588 people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far while the total vaccine jabs have hit 1,882,725.”
According to the latest figures, more than 159,848,473 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 3,321,408 and recoveries amounting to 137,543,761.
