Mostly student, the protesters called the Israeli move barbaric and against all international laws.
Israeli forces have over the past days been attacking Palestinian homes in East al-Quds’ Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, trying to force the Palestinians to abandon their residences there in an attempt to make way for the construction of new illegal settlements.
The regime has so far wounded dozens of Palestinians protesting against the decision made by an Israeli court.
The court has now decided to postpone a hearing on the decision by 30 days.
Israel has for seven decades been pressing ahead with the construction of illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and continues to deny millions of Palestinian refugees the right to return.
Several attempts have been made to solve the Israeli Palestinian conflict, the last of which was the so-called deal of the century proposed by ex-US president Donald Trump, which is dismissed by Palestinians as an attempt to trade their identity and history with money.
Rights activists here say Israel's recent atrocities are a proof that the so-called peace plans by the west cannot defend the rights of Palestinians and will only make the Israeli regime more insolent in its crimes in Palestine.
Protesters say it's time to take action, as any silence by the international community is tantamount to a green light to Israel's violence against Palestinians.
